Did you know you can even streamline RSVP’s through your wedding website?! I’ve compiled some items to add to your website if you are specifically planning a destination wedding…

1.    Directions to your venue. This seems obvious, but you would be amazed at how many couples don’t include this information on their website. I recommend not only making sure your wedding venue address is visible, but include directions from the airport, and from the North and South, so everyone is covered.

2. Accommodations. Don’t assume your guests know the best place(s) to stay. It may even be the first time some, or most, of your wedding guests have traveled to your destination wedding city location. Another tip: offer room blocks at a hotel nearby where your guests can receive a discount just by giving your couple name or your wedding date. There is no better way to say “thank you for traveling.”

3. Local attractions. The fun thing about a destination wedding for your guests is that they can take the next day to explore the city your wedding is in! Your guests can truly make a weekend out of attending your wedding. My advice is to include some popular attractions and things to do on your wedding website, so while your guests are on your site RSVP’ing, they can plan the remainder of their trip as well.
